Gabrielle, also known as “Gabi” to coworkers and clients, joined the firm in October of 2017 and focuses on the needs of Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy clients. She was born and raised in Neptune and Asbury Park, New Jersey and attended the Lincoln University in Oxford, Pennsylvania where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Liberal Arts and earned a Pre-Law Certificate. Prior to law school, she was a participant in the Charles Hamilton Houston Scholars Program, which focused on preparing minority students for the rigors of law school. Upon graduation from the Lincoln University, Gabi attended the Thomas R. Kline School of Law (Drexel University) and graduated with a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Health Law. While attending the Kline School of Law, she worked as a student advocate at a Philadelphia Health Center and as a Dean’s Scholar Researcher. Her advocacy culminated in her final year of law school where she initiated a program aimed at reforming the compassion release statue in Pennsylvania, or the lack thereof, and partnered with the “Lifers” at the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution at Graterford, among other lawmakers and hospice staff.
After graduation from the Kline School of Law, Gabi initially focused her practice in family law and clerked for the Honorable Samuel Ragonese, J.S.C. in Salem County, where she was the only full-time family division judicial law clerk. Following her clerkship, she continued with the practice of family law through representing clients in divorce, adoption, child support, and child custody matters in South Jersey. However, after over a year of practicing family law with a mid-sized firm, she decided her advocacy and passion would best serve bankruptcy clients in South Jersey. Therefore she joined the prestigious Law Offices of Seymour Wasserstrum.
Gabi is a passionate advocate for all her clients and their emotional well-being. She is dedicated to her rather large family, as she is one of eleven children in a blended family, and loves spending as much time as she can with her family and friends. In her free time she enjoys painting, soap making, web sleuthing missing persons’ cases, and binge watching the newest Netflix series.
