I'm Seymour Wasserstrum, New Jersey consumer protection attorney, advocate for the underdogs. I'm creating my YouTube Channel because I've seen far too many people struggling and suffering during these difficult and challenging financial times. People who can't pay their mortgage, their rent, their car payment, their credit cards. People who fear foreclosure, eviction, repossessions, and lawsuits resulting in wage garnishments and bank levys against their assets, and all sorts of other problems.
These people definitely need some debt relief and probably lots of stress relief, but I think they need something more beyond just that. Something they won't normally get from a typical debt counselor. I think they could use a total thought transformation, a transformation of their thinking processes. A transformation of their thought life.I'd like to help them change their perspectives and their perceptions. They need to change the way they look at themselves and their lives. They are looking at themselves as victims, failures, losers. But that's not who they really are.
Instead of feeling stressed, I'd like to see them feel blessed. So here's my goal - I want to help people who are in serious debt, and I want to help them get debt relief, stress relief, and something more. I want to help them feel better about themselves and about their lives. I want to let them know that no matter how bad their financial situation might be, no matter how badly they might be feeling, there is still lots of hope, there's still lots of light at the end of this tunnel, and they still can create a much better compelling future for themselves and their families.
So in addition to helping you deal with your creditors and your bill collectors, I'm also going to help you to deal with your psychology, your attitude, your outlook, and your thinking. Every once in a while I watch a lady on TV. She's got a ministry, her name is Joyce Meyer, and she talks about people having stinkin thinkin. And these days there are lots of people out there whose thinkin is really stinkin. One thing I've learned over the years is that our thoughts lead to our feelings, our feelings lead to what we do, our feelings lead to the actions we take, and what we do, and the actions we take lead to the results we get in life. So really it all starts with the way we think, those thoughts in our head.
They say knowledge is power, but how powerful is knowledge really, if we don't use that knowledge to improve our lives? The power is in the doing. The power is in taking action. You can know what to do, but what good is it if you don't do what you know? You've got to pull that trigger every once in a while, and it all begins with our thoughts. Our thoughts are very, very powerful. And of course our attitude is also very very important.
So we're going to talk about the dilemma of debt, the problems that substantial debt causes in our lives, and we're going to see if we can help people not only resolve their debt problems, we're also going to see if we can change some of their stinkin thinkin so that they can look forward to a much brighter financial future, a compelling future, a future filled with happiness and joy, instead of the fear, the despair, and the doubts that so many people who are in debt are presently suffering from. I think its going to be an interesting experience..
